HM Health Solutions Inc. d/b/a enGen, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, has a work-at-home Lead Software Engineer position (with the ability to telecommute with appropriate telecommuting systems) responsible for building scalable software applications across all digital channels to serve Highmark’s customers. Specific duties include: (i) executing products using the technical stack that best meets the needs of the platform; and (ii) being involved in every aspect of the software application build process from idea generation, business analysis, technical design through software development using the latest technologies and design patterns.
Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field plus seven (7) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position.
Must have any experience with: (i) coding in Java; (ii) public-facing technology stacks; (iii) conducting code reviews; and (iv) translating business concepts into technical solutions.
