Job Description :
Highmark Inc., headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, has a work-at-home Application Developer position (with the ability to telecommute with appropriate telecommuting systems) responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing application enhancements with no supervision.
Must have a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field plus two (2) years of experience in a related position. Alternate requirement: bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position.
With a Master’s degree, must have two (2) years of experience with each of the following: (i) Oracle; (ii) DB2; and (iii) Teradata.
With a bachelor’s degree, must have five (5) years of experience with the above-noted items.
Must have one (1) year of experience with each of the following: (i) Hadoop; and (ii) project management using Microsoft Project.
Must have any experience with SAS and SQL.
Experience can be concurrent.
